fanfold-vocab-practice-sheet-week-10-i-a

Students, follow these instructions for the vocabulary practice sheet:

  • Take 5 words at a time (start with cinco through seis on the sheet). Numbers are listed on the vocabulary sheets that I gave you.
  • Write the English word for those five words in the column entitled “inglés”. (for numbers you can use the numerals in the “ingles” column.
  • Study the spelling of those 5 Spanish words.
  • Fold back the first column of your paper.
  • Now look at the “inglés” and write the Spanish words, spelling it correctly.
  • Open the folded column and check your spelling.
  • Fold back the second column of your paper.
  • Now look at the “español” and write the English words. (numerals if they are numbers)
  • Open the folded columns and check for accuracy.
  • Fold back the third column of your paper…
  • Continue with the same process until you finish the columns all the way across.
  • Then, take 5 more vocabulary words and go through the same process…
  • Then 5 more… and so on.

When students finish the first page of the Vocabulary Practice Sheet, they can get a Crossword puzzle and finish it.  TURN IT IN.

el-parque-y-el-regalo-level-i-crossword-puzzle

When 2 people turn in the crossword puzzle, they become partners and BOTH students retell the story we told before Fall Break.  They should have their own pictures of the story.  My picture is still on the board.

Then they should continue with the second page of the Vocabulary Practice Sheet, using the same instructions as above.

TURN IN ALL WORK FOR THE DAY.
